  • The research costs amount to 45 € including VAT and must always be paid in advance. These must be paid in cash or unless otherwise stipulated when returning your device. Only after this payment has been received, the device will be checked for repair. ​

  • You must pay the examination cost in advance and will be deducted from the total repair cost. By paying this research cost, you agree to the general terms and conditions of the repair service Tecnico BV at the same time.

  • For fully automatic coffee machines without fully automatic milk foam system: If the total repair cost (excluding transport costs, including research cost of €45 incl. VAT) is a maximum of €150 incl. VAT, this repair will be carried out without the consent of the customer. An authorization for a repair will only be requested if the repair cost will be above 150€ incl. VAT (excluding transport costs). Permission will then be requested by e-mail/telephone. This repair cost of more than €150 incl. VAT must be paid in advance by transferring the e-mailed repair invoice or cash on site. ​

  • For fully automatic coffee machines with fully automatic milk foam system: If the total repair cost (excluding transport costs, including research costs of €45 incl. VAT) is a maximum of €175 incl. VAT, this repair will be carried out without the consent of the customer. Authorization for a repair will only be requested if the repair cost will be above €175 incl. VAT (excluding transport costs). Permission will then be requested by e-mail/telephone. This repair cost of more than €175 incl. VAT must be paid in advance by transferring the e-mailed repair invoice or cash on site.​

  • If you do not agree with the quote/quote of the repair cost for coffee machines without a fully automatic milk foam system above €150 incl. VAT or for coffee machines with a fully automatic milk foam system above €175 incl. VAT, you will receive the examination costs of €45 incl. VAT not refunded. If you purchase a new Melitta fully automatic espresso machine in our shop, you can recover this research cost of €45 incl. VAT.

  • After repair of your device, you have a three (3) month warranty on the repair carried out by Tecnico BV.

  • (Re-) Repairs resulting from poor or non-performed maintenance or lime damage are not covered by the warranty. Also broken printed circuit boards are not covered by the warranty during the three (3) month warranty period.

  • The devices that are not collected within one month after the notification "to be repaired", this after a written reminder or by e-mail, the property right will expire and the machine will be destroyed. Unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Devices that have been brought in by the customer for repair and have been repaired, can be collected after confirmation of the repair. With this collection, the repair costs must be paid locally or unless otherwise stipulated.

  • Make sure that all loose parts (such as water tank, drip tray, coffee grounds container, lids, steam nozzle, cappuccinatore, etc.) are present with the appliance, in order to be able to carry out a complete check during repair of the appliance.

  • The appliance must be cleaned of coffee beans, rinsing water from the drip tray, coffee pads from the coffee grounds container and water from the water tank. This is to prevent moisture and contamination problems during transport. The water filter must be removed before transport to prevent the filter from drying out. A dried out water filter is no longer usable. You can keep it in a container with water until after recovery and then use it again.

  • Devices that are too heavily soiled will be refused for repair.

  • Upon collection, the hand-in slip is the only valid proof of collection.

  • Shipments of parts or letters that are presented without postage will at all times be refused and will not be accepted.

  • Transport costs are not included in this and are therefore always at the expense of the customer. Always insure your shipment for transport.

  • The customer must always deliver the device to be repaired himself and collect it after repair. This is to save on transport costs, which can be high and are always at the customer's expense. (Transport costs there/back, insurance, possible transport damage, new necessary packaging, ...)

  • Transport box service:  This means that Tecnico BV will send you an empty transport box via Bpost. You can then safely place your device in this protective box. By using the included return ticket, you can then send this transport box (with your device placed in it) back to us via Bpost. After receiving your device, your device will be restored. As soon as it has been repaired, we will inform you and your device will be returned to you in the transport case. When you have received the device, you only need to send us the empty transport box with the included return ticket via Bpost. This service costs 50.00€. If you wish to use this service, you must confirm this to us in writing and provide your address details by e-mail. For the return of the transport box after the last transport to the consumer, it is expected that this takes place within two (2) weeks after receipt of the transport box. If you are prevented by unforeseen circumstances from having this transport to us, you must confirm this in writing by e-mail. If the transport box is not returned within two weeks after receipt of the last transport to the consumer, compensation for this box will be charged in the amount of € 150.00 for loss of this transport box.

  • In the event of non-payment of the invoice within the stipulated period of fourteen days, default interest equal to 12% per year will be owed from the due date by operation of law without prior notice of default. In addition, a fixed compensation of 10% of the total invoice amount is due, with a minimum amount of EUR 50. If the payment term is substantially exceeded, Tecnico BV reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the Agreement, without prejudice to the right to further compensation.

If the agreement is canceled by Tecnico BV, it will owe the buyer an equal compensation. 

  • As long as the delivered goods have not been paid for, they remain the property of Tecnico BV. The transfer of ownership of the goods delivered by Tecnico BV will only take place upon full and full payment of these goods. The buyer is prohibited from pledging, selling or alienating the goods delivered and/or to be delivered in any way, as long as he has not fulfilled all his obligations towards Tecnico bvba; the goods must be returned on first demand. Tecnico BV reserves the right to assert the prerogative of the unpaid seller on the goods sold by the buyer vis-à-vis third parties, by completing the formalities set by the legislator for this purpose. The transfer of risk takes place at the time of delivery of the goods.

  • In the event of a dispute, only the courts of the place where Tecnico BV has its registered office, head office or domicile are competent.

  • The agreement can be terminated by either party without any compensation in the event of impossibility of execution as a result of force majeure, strike, strike of the other party, etc.

  • Tecnico BV also reserves the right to consider the agreement dissolved by operation of law and without prior notice of default in the event of bankruptcy or apparent insolvency of the buyer. In the event of bankruptcy or apparent insolvency of the customer, Tecnico BV reserves the right to take back the goods. 

  • Expenses related to unpaid bills of exchange or checks as well as other collection costs are not included in this fixed compensation and are charged to the buyer separately.

  • In the event of non-payment, Tecnico BV reserves the right to discontinue further deliveries, performances and services.

  • In the event of non-payment, Tecnico BV reserves the right to consider the agreement dissolved by operation of law and without prior notice of default for the whole or the part that has not yet been performed.

  • Tecnico BV can only be held liable for apparently serious errors, intentional errors and gross negligence. Tecnico BV can in no way be held to compensation for indirect damage, economic damage or loss of profit that is the result of an infringement by it of an obligation on the basis of the agreement or these general terms and conditions. The liability of Tecnico BV will at all times be limited to the sum of the delivered goods as stated in the agreement. 

  • The nullity, unenforceability or unenforceability of one or more provisions of these general terms and conditions does not affect the validity, enforceability or enforceability of the other provisions. The rights and obligations arising from the agreement cannot be transferred to third parties, either in part or in full, without the prior written consent of Tecnico BV. The non-exercise by Tecnico BV or by the buyer of its rights, at any time, does not imply a waiver of those rights.

  • The personal data is stored and processed by us for a period that is necessary in function of the purposes of the processing and in function of the contractual relationship between Tecnico BV and you. Tecnico BV will not sell, rent, distribute or otherwise make your personal data commercially available to third parties.
