The examination costs are 50€ including VAT. These should be paid in cash or unless otherwise stipulated when handing in your appliance.

When you hand in your appliance for repair or register a repair via the website, you simultaneously agree to the general terms and conditions of the repair service Tecnico BV.

For fully automatic coffee machines without milk foam system: If the total repair cost (excluding transport costs, including examination costs of 50€ incl. VAT) does not exceed 160€ incl. VAT, the repair will be carried out without the customer's agreement. Authorisation for a repair will only be requested if the repair cost exceeds €160 including VAT (excluding transport costs). Authorisation will then be requested by mail/phone. This repair cost of more than €160 including VAT must be paid in advance by means of the transfer of the repair invoice sent by e-mail or in cash on site.

For fully automatic coffee machines with manual milk frothing system: If the total repair cost (excluding transport costs, including examination costs of €50 including VAT) does not exceed €185 including VAT, the repair will be carried out without the customer's agreement. Authorisation will only be requested for a repair if the repair cost exceeds €185 including VAT (excluding transport costs). Authorisation will be requested by mail/phone. This repair cost of more than €185 incl. VAT must be paid in advance by means of the transfer of the repair invoice sent by e-mail or in cash on site.

For fully automatic coffee machines with fully automatic milk frothing system: If the total repair cost (excluding transport costs, including examination costs of €50 including VAT) does not exceed €225 including VAT, the repair will be carried out without the customer's agreement. Authorisation for a repair will only be requested if the repair cost exceeds €225 including VAT (excluding transport costs). Authorisation will then be requested by mail/phone. This repair cost of more than €225 including VAT must be paid in advance by means of the transfer of the repair invoice sent by e-mail or in cash on site.

If you do not agree to the quotation/offer of repair costs for coffee machines without milk foaming system above €160 including VAT, for coffee machines with manual milk foaming system above €185 including VAT or for coffee machines with fully automatic milk foaming system above €225 including VAT, you will not be reimbursed for the inspection costs of €50 including VAT. If you purchase a new Melitta fully automatic espresso machine in our shop, you can recuperate this examination fee of €50 incl. VAT.

After repair of your appliance you have a three (3) months warranty on the repair and two (2) years on the replaced parts in case of the same repair by Tecnico BV.

(Re-) Repairs resulting from bad or not executed maintenance or lime damage are not covered by the warranty. Broken circuit boards are also not covered by the warranty during the three (3) month warranty period.

The devices that are not collected within one month after the notification "repaired", this after written reminder or via e-mail, the right of ownership expires and the machine is destroyed. Unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Appliances that were brought in by the customer for repair and have been repaired, can be collected after confirmation of the repair. For this collection, the repair cost must be paid on the spot or unless otherwise agreed.

Make sure that all loose parts (such as the water tank, drip tray, coffee grounds container, lids, steam pipe, cappuccino frother, etc.) are present with the appliance so that a complete inspection can be carried out when repairing the appliance.

The appliance must be cleaned of coffee beans, rinse water from the drip tray, coffee pads from the residue tray and water from the water tank. This is to avoid moisture and contamination problems during transport. The water filter must be removed before transport to prevent it from drying out. A dried out water filter is no longer usable. You can keep it in a container with water until after repair and then use it again.

Appliances that are too dirty will be refused for repair.

The return slip is the only valid proof of collection.

Shipments of parts or letters that are offered without postage will always be refused and not be accepted.

Transport costs are not included and are therefore always at the expense of the customer. Always insure your shipment before transport.

The customer should always deliver the appliance to be repaired and collect it after repair. This is to save on transport costs, which can be high and are always at the expense of the customer. (Return transport costs, insurance, possible transport damage, new necessary packaging, ...)

Transportbox-Service: This means that Tecnico BV will send an empty transportbox to you via Bpost. You can then safely place your device in this protective box. By using the return ticket provided, you can send this transport box (with your appliance in it) back to us via Bpost. Upon receipt of your device, your device will be repaired. As soon as it has been repaired, we will notify you and your device will be sent back to you in the transport box. Once you have received the appliance, all you need to do is send us the empty transport box with the return ticket provided via Bpost. This service costs €60.00 including VAT. If you wish to make use of this service, you must confirm it to us in writing and provide us with your address details by e-mail. For the return of the transport box after the last transport to the consumer, it is expected that this will happen within two (2) weeks after receipt of the transport box. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you are prevented from completing this transport to us, you must confirm this in writing by e-mail. If the transport crate is not returned within two weeks after receipt of the last transport to the consumer, a compensation of 250,00€ will be charged for the loss of this transport crate.

Tecnico BV will not be liable for any damage incurred during transport to and from the workshop. (Tip: if possible transport in original packaging including filling material of the purchased appliance)

In case of non-payment of the invoice within the stipulated period of fourteen days, default interest will be owed from the due date, ipso jure and without prior notice of default, at a rate of 12% per year. In addition, a fixed compensation of 10% of the total invoice amount, with a minimum of €50, - is due. In case of substantial delay of payment, Tecnico BV reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the Agreement without prejudice to the right to further damages.

Invoices should be paid within XX days of invoice date. If invoices are not paid on time, a first free reminder will be sent to you. If you again fail to pay within the stipulated payment term as stated on the first reminder, you will be charged interest on arrears as stipulated by the Act of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions as well as a fixed compensation as follows.

20 euros if the balance due is less than or equal to 150 euros;

30 euros plus 10 % of the amount due on the tranche between 150,01 and 500 euros if the balance due is between 150,01 and 500 euros;

65 euros plus 5 % of the amount due on the tranche above 500 euros with a maximum of 2000 euros if the balance due is above 500 euros.

The reminder fee for each additional reminder is €7.50 plus postage costs applicable at the time of sending.

As long as the delivered goods have not been paid for, they remain the property of Tecnico BV. Transfer of ownership of goods delivered by Tecnico BV shall only take place upon full and final payment of these goods. The purchaser is forbidden to pledge, sell or alienate to third parties in any way the goods delivered and/or still to be delivered, as long as he has not fulfilled all his obligations towards Tecnico BV; the goods shall be returned on first demand. Tecnico bvba reserves the right to assert the privilege of the unpaid vendor on the goods sold by the purchaser against third parties, by fulfilling the formalities required by law. The transfer of risk shall take place at the time of delivery of the goods.

In case of dispute only the courts of the place where Tecnico BV has its registered office, head office or domicile are competent.

The agreement can be terminated by both parties without any compensation in case of impossibility to execute it due to force majeure, strike, strike of the other party, etc.

Tecnico BV also reserves the right to consider the agreement terminated by right and without prior notice of default in case of bankruptcy or apparent insolvency of the buyer. In case of bankruptcy or apparent insolvency of the customer, Tecnico BV reserves the right to take back the goods.

Costs related to unpaid bills of exchange or cheques and other collection costs are not included in this fixed compensation and will be charged to the purchaser separately.

In case of non-payment, Tecnico BV reserves the right to stop further deliveries, performances and services.

In case of non-payment Tecnico BV reserves the right to consider the agreement as dissolved by right and without prior notice of default for the whole or the not yet executed part.

Tecnico BV can only be held liable for evident grave errors, intentional faults and gross negligence. Tecnico BV shall not be liable for any indirect damage, economic loss or loss of profit resulting from a breach by it of any obligation under the contract or these General Terms and Conditions. Tecnico BV's liability shall at all times be limited to the sum of the goods delivered as stated in the agreement.

The nullity, unenforceability or non-enforceability of one or more provisions of these General Conditions shall not affect the validity, enforceability or enforceability of the remaining provisions. The rights and obligations arising from the contract shall not be transferred, either in whole or in part, to any third party, without the prior written consent of Tecnico BV. The non-exercise by Tecnico BV or by the purchaser of its rights at any time does not imply a waiver of those rights.

Personal data will be kept and processed by us for a period of time necessary for the purposes of processing and for the contractual relationship between Tecnico BV and you. Tecnico BV will not sell, rent, distribute or otherwise make your personal data commercially available to third parties.
